ROMPIN - Pas president Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang says he is ready to be summoned by Bukit Aman to give his statement over claims that Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim was an Israeli agent.

He said he welcomed an investigation by the police if it was true that he made such allegation.

"I can head to Bukit Aman, there's no issues. I am open to being investigated but right now there's no call from Bukit Aman," he replied briefly when asked about the alleged accusation made against Anwar after a ceramah at Bandar Baru Rompin on Tuesday.

On Tuesday, Putrajaya Angkatan Muda Keadilan (AMK) chief Mohamad Syazreen Ezam Mohd Saidi lodged a police report at the Putrajaya district police headquarters (IPD) regarding the claims linking Anwar as an Israeli agent.

The police confirmed receiving the report against Baling MP Hassan Saad.

The case was classified under Section 504 and Section 500 of the Penal Code for intentionally insulting with intent to provoke a breach of the peace and defamation.

Hadi further explained that no such speech was made during his ceramah.

"I didn't say it, he (the one who accused me of such claims towards Anwar) said leave it to him. Bukit Aman knows I didn't say it.

"My ceramah was recorded, the media statement was read by Bukit Aman. Whether I said it or not is up to you. This is not the first or second time I was called to Bukit Aman," he said.
