SHAH ALAM - One of the symbols of our forefathers' struggles for independence is the Tugu Negara.

This national monument speaks volume on our patriotism spirit for the country.

It was completed in 1966.

But did you know that the sculptor of this national monument is not a malaysian? and that it was once bombed in 1975?

In this first episode of sinar specials, we will walk down the memory lane to revisit the origin of tugu negara.
