Covid-19 : 1,680 new cases, six deaths recorded

SHAH ALAM - Malaysia recorded 1,680 new Covid-19 cases on Wednesday.
Data by the Health Ministry on their KKMnow portal recorded six new deaths due to Covid-19 raising the total number of deaths to 36,738 cases.
The current active Covid-19 cases recorded were 22,006 cases with 20,514 or 93.2 per cent of patients undergoing home quarantine.
1,401 patients were placed in hospitals and 91 patients were admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) with 58 patients needing ventilator support.
The total recoveries recorded on Wednesday was 1,428 bringing the total recoveries to 4,936,495 cases.
