SHAH ALAM - A senior citizen who was missing for about ten days in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, was found well and unharmed.

Facebook user, Nabil Alkhred shared the story by uploading images and videos of the elderly man known as Pak Ibrahim.

"I found Pak Ibrahim, who had been missing for almost ten days. It's a shame to see him walking here and there, and thankfully Pak Ibrahim is healthy, eating and drinking enough.

"I asked where he slept, and then Pak Ibrahim replied that he slept where the pigeons gather.

"His face is a little bruised from falling on the rock but everything is safe and no other serious injuries," he said on Facebook on Saturday.

Nabil, also a mutawif, when he met Pak Ibrahim, he offered him food and drink.

"Thank God... the first thing when we found him,we gave rice and water, but Pak Ibrahim didn't want to eat because he was too excited because finally a Malaysian approached him.

"I felt sad when I saw Pak Ibrahim's face," he said.

Nabil added that every day, Pak Ibrahim cried while looking for other pilgrims when he was separated from them.

"He always wears his travel name tag and bag, but he did not even see Malaysian pilgrims.

"I don't know how to speak Arabic, so Pak Ibrahim did not give up and kept walking and only stopped when he was tired and slept when he felt like sleeping," he added.

In the meantime, Nabil also assured Pak Ibrahim that he would look into matters regarding his safe return to Malaysia.

"I have informed that his family members and the congregation had all returned to Malaysia but assured him not to worry. We will look into to his return to back to Malaysia," he added.

Pak Ibrahim, who is 67 years old and from Langkawi, Kedah, is not senile and can still communicate effectively, according to Nabil.

"Thank you to everyone who never stopped praying for him. Every step Pak Ibrahim took in the Holy land will be counted as a reward, God willing," he said.
