SHAH ALAM – The three victims who were injured after falling from a ‘Sotong Ride’ at a fun fair at Eco Grandeur, Puncak Alam, yesterday have been discharged from the hospital.

Kuala Selangor district police chief Supt Ramli Kasa said the woman and two children were released earlier today.

“The victims, comprised of a 31-year-old woman, her younger sister aged 11 and another victim were sent to Shah Ala hospital yesterday but they have been discharged today,” he said when contacted.

Ramli said following the incident, the fun fair had been ordered to cease operation immediately.

“We will summon the fun fair’s organiser to record their statements,” he said.

The investigation into the incident was underway under Section 6 of the Selangor State Entertainment and Places of Entertainment Enactment 1995 for operating without a licence.

Yesterday, several videos had circulated on social media which showed three riders plummeted from their seats and crash to the ground which drew cries from onlookers.
