Anwar confident will gain support until end of term

PUTRAJAYA – Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is confident that he will gain support from the coalitions in the unity government for the next five years.
He said this was based on the commitment shown by politicians to ensure that the government would be stable.
“If you look at what is covered in the agreement, it is a complicated negotiation to reach an understanding.
“So the commitment is to support a stable government and hopefully until the end of the term.
"At least I have met with all the party leaders and I am very satisfied. I have faith in the negotiation.
"We all agreed based on broad parameters and policies to ensure a stable government," he said at a press conference after the Signing Ceremony of the Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) under the Unity Government at Perdana Putra, here on Friday.
