ALOR GAJAH - A woman from Machap Baru here, is worried about the fate of her brother and sister-in-law who could not be contacted since the landslide incident at the Batang Kali campsite, Hulu Selangor on Friday.

Yi Wei said her brother was the fourth of seven siblings and works as a mortuary manager while his wife works as a teacher. They had went on holiday with their two children aged four and seven.

He said, the holiday at the camp was also joined by her brother's best friend family from Malacca, which totaled eight people.

"Until now I am worried and hope for just one call from them to know that they are safe from the landslide," she wrote alongside a link to news about the incident.

She explained that her brother's friend who was also camping there had called his family and informed them that they had arrived safely at the camp site in Batang Kali a few days ago.
