Landslide: Six victims identified

SUNGAI BULOH - Six victims who died in a landslide at Jalan Genting Highland - Batang Kali on Dec 16 has been identified by the National Disaster Management Agency (Nadma).
The agency on its Facebook today posted a list which revealed that five of the victims were female and another victim was a 9-year-old boy.
The deceased had been identified as Lim Wei Xin, Hong Mei Jin, Nurul Azmani, Lai Lee Yin, Lai Lee Koo while the child was Tong Kai.
“Six out of the 21 victims found were identified by either their next of kin or a finger print test.
“Autopsy and identification process of the rest of the bodies are still ongoing,” the statement read.
Meanwhile, the agency also shared the list of eight victims who were currently receiving treatments aged between 13 and 44.
The injured victims were being treated at three hospitals – Selayang Hospital, Kuala Kubu Bharu Hospital and Kuala Lumpur Hospital.
The agency said that more updates on the victims would be shared from time to time after they received official confirmation from the responsible agency.
