Continuous heavy rain in Kelantan, Terengganu until Tuesday

KUALA LUMPUR - Continuous heavy rain is expected in Terengganu and some areas in Kelantan from today until Tuesday.

According to the weather forecast issued by the Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) at 6.30 am today, a danger warning level was issued for Kelantan involving Tumpat, Pasir Mas, Kota Bharu, Jeli, Tanah Merah, Bachok, Machang, Pasir Puteh and Kuala Krai.

Meanwhile, a bad level of continuous heavy rain is expected to start today in Kedah involving Padang Terap, Sik and Baling; Perak (in hulu Perak); Kelantan (Gua Musang); Pahang (Cameron Highlands, Lipis, Jerantut, Maran, Kuantan, Pekan and Rompin) until Tuesday.

MetMalaysia also issued a warning of continuous rain from today until Tuesday for Perlis and Penang, while in Kedah it involves Langkawi, Kubang Pasu, Kota Setar, Pokok Sena, Yan, Pendang, Kuala Muda, Kulim and Bandar Baharu. - BERNAMA
