Flood victims in five states continue to rise, now at 63,415

SHAH ALAM - The total of flood victims in 21 districts of five states continues to increase, reaching 63,415 victims from 17,377 families as of 6am on Tuesday.

The states affected were Perak, Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang and Johor.

National Disaster Management Agency (Nadma) reported Terengganu with the highest number of victims with 37,021 involving 10,211 families.

Kelantan recorded 25,353 victims involving 6,897 families, Pahang recorded 934 victims from 235 families.

Johor recorded 53 victims from 17 families and Perak recorded 17 victims involving 17 families affected by floods.
