Covid-19: 815 new cases, six deaths recorded

SHAH ALAM - Malaysia records 815 new Covid-19 cases on Tuesday with one imported case.

Data from the Health Ministry through the KKMNow portal recorded six deaths with one outside hospital facilities or brought-in-dead (BID).

This brought the total deaths in the country to 36,814 cases.

A total of 15,411 active Covid-19 cases were recorded with 14,455 or 93.8 per cent cases are undergoing home quarantine, meanwhile, 915 were placed in hospitals.

Some 41 patients were placed in the intensive care unit and 24 required ventilator support.

The total recoveries recorded were 940 cases, which brought the total cumulative recoveries to 4,967,175.
