SHAH ALAM - A Parti Bangsa Malaysia (PBM) member has claimed Datuk Zuraida Kamaruddin's appointment to head the party was agreed upon by party leaders but the present president Datuk Larry Sng may have distrupted the plans.

Former Selangor Deputy Chairman Datuk Roger Tan Seng Huat said Zuraida's appointment was agreed upon during the party's annual general meeting and Registrar of Societies (RoS) was informed on the decision.

"However, before GE15, Sng broke his promise and demanded that he is still the President when all the president's duties were carried out by Zuraida," he claimed in a media statement today.

The internal conflict within PBM started when Sng was said to refuse in handing over the leadership of the party to Zuraida who was appointed as a president.

Yesterday, Zuraida criticised Sng who is alleged to often disclose the party's confidental matters on social media with statements that apparently damages the image of PBM, raising concerns among party members.

The former Ampang MP also called out Sng for being immature and failing to think rationally in managing the party.

However, yesterday Sng said that Zuraida should recognise his presidency as she had signed a document affirming his position last month.

But Tan claimed. “Perhaps his ‘advice’ to other PBM leaders for self-reflection needs to be directed to himself given that he has acted as both a traitor to the party by not portraying any sense of camaraderie.”

Tan went on to warn political parties and coalitions who wish to have Sng on board to be wary of his “bad nature”.

“This kind of parasitic nature should not exist in any individual, let alone someone who holds a MP tittle,” Tan claimed.
