SHAH ALAM - Economy Minister Rafizi Ramli reminded Malaysians today about the value of time, which he described as the most valuable asset.

In conjunction with the New Year, he shared a Facebook post explaining that time can't be replaced with power or money.

"We may be the greatest rulers or the richest people in the world, but it is impossible with all that money and power to go back to the past, even for a second.

"All your properties can be replaced. Money that has been lost can be earned back with effort."Power may return with the right steps," he said.

The Pandan parliamentarian said this new year for him, is greeted with mixed feelings, as he has taken on new responsibilities to serve the people.

"I'm a little scared, worried about such a big responsibility entrusted to me, and upset about the time I've wasted. My prayer is for each one of us to value time, as it is the most valuable asset.

"May 2023 will be utilised more efficiently because time will not come back," Rafizi, the Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) deputy president, said.
