Umno to decide if other party leaders from unity govt will attend general assembly

KUALA LUMPUR - Umno will decide on Jan 5 if it will extend an invitation to leaders of other parties in the unity government for the opening of the party’s general assembly (PAU) next week.
Umno secretary general Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan said a decision will be made on Jan 5.
"We will make a decision during the Supreme Council meeting on Jan 5, " Ahmad said during a press conference here at Menara Datuk Onn today.
Umno’s general assembly will be held from Jan 11 to Jan 14 at the World Trade Centre.
A total of 2,648 Umno delegates nationwide and 174 party's division information chiefs as observers will also be present.
