SHAH ALAM - Former Communications and Multimedia minister Tan Sri Annuar Musa will take legal action against three individuals who allegedly defamed him on the issue of selling Menara Kuala Lumpur (KL Tower).

Annuar said that he had been defamed by online postings, which affected his image and reputation even after he claimed that he was not involved in the transaction.

After consulting with his lawyers, Annuar decided to take legal action against three individuals.

"I have no choice but to instruct the lawyer to take legal action against the three individuals namely Adrian Lim Chee En, K Pragalath Kumar and Mohd Razlan Rafii.

"There are also postings made without revealing their real identity (anonymously), I will try to identify them.

"I'll leave it to the legal team to initiate appropriate action with the existing law," he said in a Facebook post.

Commenting further, Annuar said there were many misleading statements published ever since the controversy broke out regarding Menara KL which was claimed to be quietly sold by Telekom Malaysia's (TM) subsidiary.

"Every matter that arises, especially those involving the interests of the people and the country, must be investigated thoroughly by the authorities.
