Covid-19: 571 new cases, seven deaths recorded

SHAH ALAM - Malaysia records 571 new Covid-19 cases on Thursday with one imported case.

The Health Ministry through the KKMNow Portal recorded seven deaths with two deaths outside of hospital facilities or brought-in-dead (BID).

This has raised the total of deaths to 36866 cases.

The current active number of Covid-19 cases are at 11,564 with 10,945 or 94.6 per cent under home quarantine.

581 Covid-19 patients were treated in hospitals.

38 patients were placed in the intensive care unit (ICU) and 18 required ventilator support.

The total recoveries recorded on Thursday were 696 cases bringing the total to 4,980,364 cases.
