SHAH ALAM - PH has not yet started any discussions regarding cooperations with BN to face the six State Elections (PRN) this year.

Its secretary-general, Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail said, the PH Presidential Meeting only touched on preparations for the state elections in general.

He also said the meeting also touched on the the reactivation of the joint election committee.

"Preparation for the state elections was only mentioned in general terms. We have not specifically talked about the (PH-BN cooperation) because the electoral authority will discuss a few things first before deciding if its a reasonable step," he said.

He said this when met by reporters after attending the PH Presidential Meeting at the PKR headquarters here on Saturday.

Saifuddin, who is also the Home Affairs Minister added that PH's main focus now is to defend the three states it has previously conquered, namely Selangor, Negeri Sembilan and Penang.

"Then, we are determined to send a strong opposition voice even if we don't end up capturing or taking over Kelantan and Terengganu.

" We think that PH's chance remains balanced in the state of Kedah.

"So, that is the focus in the context of the state elections ," he said

"There are several things about the composition of (PAC) that should be balanced with the number of members of the Dewan Rakyat.

"That is being considered. Whatever it is, we will wait for a discussion with the opposition about these matters," he said.
