She advised women against falling in love with another woman’s husband because at the end only a woman's life will be ruined.
“It is not a simple thing to marry someone’s husband. If possible, don’t fall in love with non-single males because truthfully, we must pity ourselves as we will have to bear some kind of suffering.
“It is not simply to be involved with a married man because already has a spouse. However, if he gets someone else to replace his spouse, he would say the new women was the perfect match for him," she added.
She said this during Mak Untuk Malasysia (Mum) programme titled ‘Korban Kasih Zarina Zainuddin’ which was aired on all Sinar Harian platforms on Monday.
Nor Azzura Azizul Azman hosted the one-hour programme.
Zarina said she feels the downsides of becoming a second wife because her husband spent less time with her at home.
Not offending her husband's first wife, she revealed she had become a second wife at 21.
“It stings. It’s difficult because after the husband is married to us he will still try to gain the trust of the first wife because of his guilt.
“So, we must face the sting. I am stressed, but I must be strong and patient. Alhamdulillah everything became much better after I was pregnant.
“Happiness is what we make, we create our own happiness. Don’t be greedy because I know we must learn to share in a polygamous marriage.
"I try to understand my husband and his wife even though I am teased. There those who are angry at me for taking someone's husband. We must know we have taken someone’s rights. Let’s not get over our heads,” she said while shedding a tear when sharing her life story.

The actress from Bota, Perak said she requested for her husband to get his first wife’s permission to marry her.
“I don’t want to marry someone’s husband and not become a home wrecker. I said to my husband if he is sincere, then bring Ina (Zarina) to meet your first wife.
“I said I must ask permission from his wife. If not allowed, I will not marry someone’s husband,” she explained.
Zarina said her husband was a gentleman because he was brave enough to bring her to get his wife’s permission.
She explained after the meeting with the first wife, his wife had called up her mother and gave her permission for her husband to marry her.
