KUALA LUMPUR - Umno supreme council member Datuk Seri Jamal Yunos is calling for the party's disciplinary board to suspend former party youth chief Khairy Jamaluddin over the latter's claim of elecotral fraud that happened at the party's 2022 General Assembly today.

Jamal denied that party workers had "imported ghost delegates" into the hall in order to vote for motions that were proposed in this year's party assembly, insisting that Khairy's allegations had malicious intent.

"I was in the hall and based on my observation, what KJ (Khairy) claimed was untrue and so I urge the disciplinary board to take actions against him.

"I will lodged a complaint [to the board]. I am truly dissatisfied with this [KJ's claim]," Jamal said at a press conference at the Kuala Lumpur World Trade Centre (WTCKL) today.

He also claimed that KJ was also the culprit behind yesterday's booing episode which happened when party's Negeri Sembilan delegate tabled a last minute supplementary motion proposing for the top two post in Umno to not be opened for contest in the coming party polls.
