SHAH ALAM - Umno head of information Isham Jalil denied allegations of ‘ghost voters' brought in to pass the additional motion to prevent Umno's top two posts from being contested.

On a Facebook post earlier, Isham said discussions and meetings that were conducted inside Dewan Merdeka were done in an orderly manner.

"KJ's (Khairy Jamaluddin) allegations were false. I was in Dewan Merdeka; there are no import representatives as alleged by him," he said.

Isham said the former Umno youth leader should certainly know that every delegate in Dewan Merdeka who represents their own sections knows each other.

"If there were people who couldn't be recognised or shouldn't be there, they will know, and it will be informed.

"With all due respect, I suggest that Khairy personally come to Dewan Merdeka now and point out which are the import representatives, as he claimed," he added.

He also urged the former Rembau parliament member to apologize to Umno representatives for accusing them of being imported.

"He needs to apologise to all Umno members as accusation is worse than murder," he said.

Khairy Jamaluddin earlier claimed there were high possibilities for outside voters to come and help pass the extra motion to prevent the posts of president and the deputy president from being contested.
