No second chance for Syamsul, says Puteri Sarah

KUALA LUMPUR - Actress Puteri Sarah Liyana Megat Kamaruddin, or fondly known as Puteri Sarah is stern about her decision to file for divorce from her husband actor and film director, Syamsul Yusof.

Puteri Sarah, who was present at the Syariah Court here on Monday, said this was the best solution to the crisis plaguing her marriage and family.

"I have endured this for the last four years and have not found any solution. There is also no second chance for him.

"This is the best way, and my decision is final," she said.

Puteri Sarah, who was seen donning a black jubah (robe), arrived at the court accompanied by her siblings at around 10.25am.

Also present was her syarie lawyer Datuk Akberdin Abdul Kader.

When asked about her feelings, Puteri Sarah said she was in high spirits when she woke up in the morning.

"I'm ready and feeling high-spirited. It is also because my siblings are here to accompany me," she added.

Syamsul and Puteri Sarah were married on March 8, 2014, and have two children, Syaikhul Islam, 6, and Sumayyah, 4.

On Jan 6, Syamsul, 38, admitted through a video on Instagram that he had married Ira Kazar in Thailand in the presence of his father-in-law, veteran actor Kazar Saisi.

For the past year, the "talk of the town" has been Syamsul's relationship with Ira.

Puteri Sarah had also gone on social media to expose Ira as the other woman and the cause of the rift in her marriage.
