SHAH ALAM - Daddy is not home and we miss him.

In a post on former Prime Minister's Datuk Seri Najib official instagram account, his son Ashman Najib expressed his sadness that his father was not around during this festive season.

"Silence, alone, daddy is not home and we miss him.

"Couldn't spend much time with daddy because of his official duties, tight schedule where everyone wants to meet him on various matters.

"But during the festive season such as these, daddy tries to spend time with his family, sometimes there is chance to go to a celebration together. Its okay, work comes first daddy," he wrote in the post

Ashman also said Najib who is currently serving his 12 year prison sentence was always keen in wishing fellow Malaysians during festive seasons despite his tight schedule.

"Every Chinese New Year, daddy will invite me to make a greeting video with him since I am fluent in Malay, English and also Chinese.

"Daddy also learned a little during his term as a leader, tomorrow is Chinese New Year, can't be with daddy to make a greeting video this time.

"I would like to wish everyone a Happy Chinese New Year on behalf of our family and Datuk Seri Najib," he wrote in the post
