Stand-up comedian Atul Khatri to tickle Malaysia for the first time

The Netflix sensation brought to Malaysia by LOL Asia will be performing Jan 27, Friday at The Platform, Menera Ken TTDI at 8.30pm. The ex-CEO turned stand-up comedian who has been making a living making people laugh is one of the only three Indian comedians to have a comedy special on Netflix, along with multiple Amazon Prime appearances and specials.
Atul who is revered as the "Best Stand-up Act in India" by India Nightlife Convention and Awards, was the only Indian to perform at the Hong Kong International Comedy Festival and was the winner of the CEO’s Got Talent, Season 1, while CNN-IBN recently rated him as one of the top 20 comedians in India to watch out for.
Having performed full-house shows all across the globe for the last eleven (11) years in the USA, Indonesia, New Zealand, Singapore, UK, Europe, Manila, Australia, in January 2019, Atul's Comedy Special “The Happiest Ending” was beamed on Netflix worldwide as part of Comedians of the World featuring Top 47 comedians from 13 countries across the world. This was followed by a performance at the prestigious “Just for Laughs Comedy Festival” in Sydney, Australia in November 2019, which also featured leading comedians from around the world including Steve Martin and Martin Short.
Excited for the stage in Malaysia, the Mumbai native said “This is my first public performance in Malaysia and I’m looking forward to it with my new show called `Daddy Kool.’ I believe the audience can expect laughter, fun, and panache in my set and will relate to the content and have a laughter riot.
