SHAH ALAM - Muda president Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman has expressed shock over a police probe on aides to two Pakatan Harapan leaders.

Syed Saddiq who is also Muar MP said the police should have investigated the mastermind behind the provocation incident in Muar last October.

"I urge the the police to use their time, energy and resources to investigate who is behind the provocation and not the other way around," he said in a statement tonight.

He said the provocations were carried out several times throughout his election campaigning period and reports have been made.

"Report on the disturbance of public order and damage to property during the provocation at the fundraising dinner in Muar has been made but it is still under investigation," he added.

Last October, Muda claimed that it had to face provocation during their ceramah in Muar after a group of men in mask threw fire crackers and bottles at the event which caused damage to cars.

They have also made reports on a group of rowdy youths riding noisy motorcycles during one of their campaigns in the same month.

Muar OCPD Asst Comm Raiz Mukhliz Azman Aziz had said the incident were being investigated under the Peaceful Assembly Act 2012.
