GEORGETOWN - Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow confirms he has yet to receive any official invitation from Pas for a meeting to discuss the state elections being held at the same time.

Chow said he was shocked after reading the news report on a meeting to be held informally between the Menteri Besar and chief ministers of the three Pakatan Harapan (PH) states.

“I was surprised about the informal meeting between all states having state elections. I did not receive any official letter or invitation on the matter,” he said after attending the Kadun Padang Kota Open House, here, on Thursday.

The Penang PH chairman further said all menteri besar and chief ministers from the six states have previously discussed to have state elections at the same time.

“We voiced that it would be best if all states could have their state election at the same time,” he said.
