Rotary Club of Kuala Lumpur DiRaja purchases books at the 2023 Karangkraf Warehouse Sale

SHAH ALAM - Wide range of discounts, offers and book selections at the 2023 Karangkraf Warehouse Sale has attracted the Rotary Club of Kuala Lumpur DiRaja to make purchases for its organisation.

The non-governmental organisation (NGO) Youth Director Syed Shah Redza Syed Mohamed Redza said they have allocated RM3,000 to buy various types of reading materials including cookbooks and religious knowledge.

He shared all the books purchased are for the use of students at Jalinan Kasih Guidance School, Rotary Community Corps Children's Library and BRDB Rotary Children's Residence (BRCR) Seri Kembangan, Selangor.

"Karangkraf is indeeed known for with publishing quality books. So when there is a cheap sale, without a second thought we have come to buy the reading materials needed by students.

"We believe that the intention of sharing sustenance (buying books) will benefit those aged four to 18. This knowledge is never enough and always needed," he said on Sunday

The Karangkraf Warehouse Sale 2023 now back again with varieties of reading materials at discounts of up to 80 per cent.

It is held from Jan 27 to Feb 6 from 9 am to 7 pm at the Karangkraf Media Group Complex in Seksyen 15, Shah Alam.

He added that the donated book is expected to complement the existing reading materials to increase the knowledge of the students.

"We hope students can learn with fun when they get this reading material later," he said.
