Anwar unwell, unable to attend Thaipusam festival, says minister

Human Resources Minister V Sivakumar said: "The prime minister was supposed to attend the Thaipusam celberation today but he contacted me this morning informing he was unwell and was forced to head to the hospital for a treatment."
He told reporters at Thaipusam celebration in Sri Subramaniar Swamy Temple, here.
The Thaipusam celebration in Batu Caves garnered hundreds of thousands of Hindus along with visitors to watch colourful kavadis and to experience the vibrant festival. – Awani
