160 new Covid cases, no deaths recorded

SHAH ALAM - Malaysia recorded 160 Covid-19 cases with one import case in the last 24 hours.

Health Ministry's KKMNow portal showed no deaths yesterday. So far 36,951 people have died of Covid-19.

Meanwhile, 9,401 active cases were recorded with 9,068 or 96.5 per cent individuals undergoing home quarantine while 324 receiving treatment at medical facility.

A total of nine patients were placed in the intensive care unit (ICU) and four of the patients required ventilator support.

Additionally, 358 recovered cases were recorded, bringing the overall number of recoveries to 4,993,134 cases.
