Lotus's Malaysia offering cash prizes, vouchers worth more than RM12,000

To meet the current rising interest in e-sports, Lotus’s Malaysia offers cash prizes and cash vouchers more than RM12,000 through a PUBG battle this Feb 25 until Feb 26, at its stores nationwide.

The on-ground tournaments which are entitled ‘e-Legasi’ organised in collaboration with gaming giant, Republic of Gamers (ROG) and will be taking off at Lotus’s Selayang with the aim to boost and support the gaming industry.

With the significant difference between retail and e-sports industry, Lotus’s Malaysia Malls Head Anthony Spillett shared that Lotus’s is more than a shopping centre.

“We aspire to be the community attraction centre that is safe for people of all ages to gather, conduct and take part in many activities and we welcome all to join in the fun, “With a partner like ROG, we are excited to see many game enthusiasts signing up and competing in the Lotus’s eLEGASI tournaments planned at our participating store locations,” he said.

For the customers and participants who will be visiting the stores, ROG will introduce many of their premium devices for the customers to experience and opportunity to explore at the site.

ROG Malaysia and Indonesia for Smartphone Business Unit Product Manager Marcia Sung expressed her excitement and pride for the collaboration with the leading retailer company.
