SHAH ALAM - There will be good news for the people tomorrow when the budget is tabled, Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Minister Datuk Seri Salahuddin Ayub said.

He said the ministries had requested many things for the upcoming Budget 2023 that will benefit the people.

“We have requested a budget that we think is crucial especially in facing the cost of living for the B40 community and for those living in extreme povertry.

“I believe the Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim had stressed on this issue, when he first became prime minister, “I feel there will be many good news for the B40 community and I think we will be given enough allocation to face the current cost of living issue,” he told reporters at the inaugural Business Sinar Harian Awards (BISA) here at Double Tree by Hilton Hotel.

BISA is an award event that gives acknowledgement to small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) across all sectors. Aspiring to be an annual event, the event aims to recognise the best SME businesses in Malaysia.

It is the first ever prestigious business awards hosted by Sinar Harian to celebrate the success of local entrepreneurs in Malaysia. With more than 100 guests attending, there were more than 30 businesses which managed to bag awards.
