Budget 2023: Inflation rate for this year will remain the same as in 2022

In retabling the revised Budget 2023, said the approach was timely as the rakyat was worried of the economic resistance.
"The inflation rate in 2022 was at a rate of 3.33 per cent while food security inflation was higher at 5.8 per cent."
"The inflation rate this year was expected to be the same, but it could be higher if the food security problem is not tackled," he said.
Anwar also discussed the youth unemployment rate, which was over 10 per cent, and the minimum wage for youth which is as low as RM1,700 in 2021
