Budget 2023: 50,000 laptops for schools and educational institutions

KUALA LUMPUR - Government will provide 50,000 laptops for schools and educational institutions under the Education Ministry, this year.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said it was crucial for both teachers and students to be exposed to and adapt to technology.

“Teachers play an important role in educating children.

“In line with the current modernisation, the teaching and learning needs of teachers need to quickly adapt to digital technology,” he said during the retabling of Budget 2023 in parliament today.
