KUALA LUMPUR - A sea of white appeared in parliament today, as opposition members took to dressing in white for the Budget 2023 retabling.

Many opposition leaders were seen wearing a white baju melayu namely, Perikatan Nasional Youth Chief Wan Ahmad Fayshal Wan Ahmad Kamal, Bersatu Vice-President Ronald Kiandee and all PN MPs.

While wearing white attire might symbolise many things, it most commonly symbolises innocence, peace and simplicity.

When asked on the reason why a majority of the opposition members were wearing white, Wan Fayshal said it was to show how the oppostion members were united.

"We are united as an opposition front. Not like them (unity government) despite calling themselves 'Perpaduan'
