SHAH ALAM - Pas deputy president Datuk Seri Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man views the unity government as having implemented several things that were previously opposed.

He said this included the individual policy that those appointed as prime ministers could not hold the finance minister position.

"They opposed the idea of appointing family members in the government, but we saw them perform such acts.

"They have already tarnished their 100-day achievement indirectly," he told Sinar Ahad.

The Kubang Kerian MP said the government is not focusing on the manifesto promised during the 15th general election (GE15).

"They threw out a lot of ideas but implemented none of them.

"Among them were the Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) withdrawals that we announced during our administration.

"Now that they’ve become the government, they don't enforce the matters that were discussed before," he explained.

He stated that the Rahmah Menu initiative, which was launched, was a set of programmes rather than government policies.

Ibrahim said the people needed policies to reduce the rising cost of living.

"However, there were some matters of public concern that were addressed by the government of the day; I will not deny that, but on other matters, there are no solutions in sight.

"For example, many questioned why we import eggs from India even though we export that raw material," he said.
