KUALA LUMPUR - The Syariah Lower Court, here, was told that director of “Mat Kilau” Syamsul Yusof had hit his wife Puteri Sarah Liyana Megat Kamaruddin in 2020.

During the proceedings of Puteri Sarah’s divorce application against her husband, her lawyer Datuk Akberdin Abdul Kader said the incident had forced his client to move out of the house.

Akberdin said Puteri Sarah, 38, only returned home after her parents-in-law persuaded her to come back.
