SHAH ALAM - The actor who had allegedly punched his wife at a rest and relaxation (R&R) area in Sungai Buloh will be charged in court next Monday.
Selangor police chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan said the 29-year-old actor will be charged under Section 323 of the Penal Code.

"The police have received feedback and instructions from TPR to charge the man in Kuala Kubu Bharu Court on Monday (March 13)," he told Sinar today.
On Monday, Sinar Harian reported that the police had received a court order to prevent the actor from committing the same act against the victim while the police investigation was in progress.
Tthe police arrested the man at the Criminal Investigation Department's Sexual, Women, and Child Investigations Division (D11) of the Selangor Police Contingent Headquarters (IPK) on March 5.
The actor was then released on police bail after police recorded his statement in the evening of the same day.
Prior to that, the actor's wife had lodged a police report at Jinjang Police Station, claiming that her husband had punched her several times and injured her eyes.
It was understood that the incident happened when the victim and her husband were in a car at a R&R area around Sungai Buloh.
