As of 5 pm, Puteri Umno candidate Datuk Nurul Amal Mohd Fauzi is leading the race for the chief position, followed by former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak's daughter Nooryana Najib.
Meanwhile, Umno Melaka Youth Chief Dr Muhamad Akmal Saleh is on the lead for the youth chief position.
Members of the media have started gathering at the World Trade Center Kuala Lumpur (WTCKL) as early as 3pm.
