Discuss measures to bring back the people's trust - Mohamed Khaled

SHAH ALAM - The new Umno leadership needs to discuss the steps that can be taken to restore the people's support for the party.
Its vice president Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin said, it can only be done with teamwork shown by all parties.
"We have to accept the fact that we move as a team. We will discuss and examine the things that should be done to bring benefit to the party.
"Among them, party leaders who are in the unity government should show good work performance.
"Through it, maybe the people will see (our seriousness) and be open to giving support to Umno again," he told Sinar Harian on Sunday.
Mohamed Khaled, who is also Kota Tinggi MP believed that every leader appointed in this election has the same aspirations.
"Everyone understands that no one is great individually, but strength is only born when everyone moves together," he said.
In the meantime, Mohamed Khaled said the opportunity to once again assume the position of Vice President for the 2023-2026 session will be best used to help Umno's leadership strengthen the party's position.
"I would like to thank those who have given support and votes so that I can maintain my position as Vice President.
"I will work together with the leadership to strengthen the party's position again. I will try to achieve and fulfill those expectations," he explained.
