SHAH ALAM - Selangor Pas is confident that Perikatan Nasional (PN) can topple the current Pakatan Harapan (PH) state government if the public continues to show similar support like in the 15th general election (GE15) last year.

State Pas secretary Roslan Shahir Mohd Shahir said it is not impossible for PN to take over the government in the upcoming state polls due to the public’s political awareness in the state.

"The Selangor people are to be more confident and prepared to give their trust to Pas and PN.

"This was proven by Pas’s capabilities in terms of quality, integrity, and high moral values among their leaders," he said in a statement on Thursday.

Roslan said that based on GE15, the coalition has successfully won the hearts of voters in Selangor.

"In GE15, the PN had won six seats in Parliament, and three were won through Pas representatives," he said.

He said the Central Pas Committee Meeting on March 25 also approved 4,179 new party memberships throughout February and March across the nation.

He added that of the total, 404 were recently accepted in Selangor.
