Welfare Dept tracking down parents, next of kin of baby left in hospital

SHAH ALAM - The Shah Alam Social Welfare Department (SWD) is tracking down the parents or next of kin of a baby boy who was left at Shah Alam Hospital (HSA) on Jan 22.

Shah Alam SWD released a statement, requesting that the members of the baby's family come forward to help proceed with further action, including placement for the baby.

"The parents or next of kin are required to discuss with the guardian to find out the child's future placement plans as soon as possible.

"Parties involved are asked to attend at the Shah Alam SWD branch at Unit G2, Level G, Shah Alam IDCC, Jalan Pahat L 15/L, Seksyen 15, 40200, Selangor," the statement said.
