SELAYANG - BeVital today launched the Rahmah Physiotherapy Package for the B40 group for RM20 and RM5 for asnaf (zakat recipients) individuals for each session.

Its founder Dr Ahmad Munawwar Helmi Salim said the package covers all physiotherapy treatments needed with an original price of RM159.

He said BeVital represented the only physiotherapy centre managed as a social enterprise by providing comprehensive services t marginalised and vulnerable groups such as B40, asnaf and homeless people.

“Through the cross-subsidy business, the income is generated through the treatment of clients at the centre and receiving public donations used to subsidise the target group.

“We hope the implementation of the rahmah physiotherapy package would ease the burden on the people especially the target groups who require treatments,” he said.

He said this at the launch of the Rahmah Physiotherapy Package officiated by the Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Minister Datuk Seri Salahuddin Ayub at Selayang BeVital Physiotherapy Centre on Saturday.

Munawwar said along with the launch of the special package a 50 per cent discount would be given to first time customers in the centre.

He said those waning to gain treatments are urged to make an appointment to ease the treatment process.

Salahuddin said the rahmah umbrella initiative is making history when the medical field is involved through the physiotherapy field.

“Those needing these physiotherapy treatments now have a new destination through the rahmah package implemented by BeVital offering RM20 for B40s and RM5 for asnafs.

“This offer is good news for the public who needs it,” he said.

He said even though the rahmah prices were offered the service guarantee provided is equivalent to physiotherapy treatments offered at normal prices.

“Don’t expect rahmah packages to offer ‘sloppy’ quality. The physiotherapy field requires experts with degrees or diplomas in the field.

“Officers are trained. The work is not simply for cheap publicity but BeVital’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) to aid in cost of living and some charges are implemented to aid in operations and improving services in the future,” he said.
