KLUANG - An unidentified body was found floating inside of Kahang Baru Water Treatment Plant, Batu 22, Kahang, here, today.
Kluang Fire and Rescue Department operations commander Firefighter Darmanshah Mohd Naim said they received an emergency call about the incident at 1.44pm on Wednesday.
"A total of eight members from the department and Kahang Volunteer Fire Brigade (PBS) were rushed to the scene with two Hilux and Proton Arena utilities and a boat.
"The body was then taken to the riverbank using a boat before it was handed over to the police for further action. The operation ended at 3.45pm," he said in a statement today.
