SHAH ALAM - Pas President, Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang insisted that the party cannot be deceived and dragged out of its Islamic policy and direction.

Therefore, he said, PAS cannot be included in DAP's 'kitchen' that has non-halal food, even if the cook changes or a Muslim cook is hired

"PAS has an Islamic approach, however we do not prevent non-Muslims from following their respective religions.

"In fact, the things forbidden by Islam is allowed for them, practiced within harmonious boundaries

"Al-Quran remains a guide for Pas in recognising its friends and foes ," he wrote in an online column called ' Minda Presidenn Pas' in the party's official website on Friday.

Abdul Hadi further elaborated that PAS has not forgotten the nation's history when the colonialists were in charge , when the kings were captured and deprived of their sovereign power, and the people were deceived and bullied.

"In the past, PAS was in agreement with DAP and other parties as the opposition based on an agreed common ground which did not touch on the party's policy and did not deviate from its direction.

"Later Pas withdrew as DAP did not show cleanliness in their democratic practice," Hadi claimed

"So much so, it can invite foreign interference in the affairs of our homeland," he said.

He further said that DAP were frauds for cooperating with UMNO with the aim of getting Malay Muslim votes to compensate for the failure of Parti Keadilan Rakyat and Parti Amanah Negara which lost Malay Muslim votes during the election.

"This is a step taken to test our Umno friends, whether their political struggle is because of maintaining positions and power or is it for the people, religion and this nation," Hadi wrote.
