Dr Mahathir praises MRT service
KUALA LUMPUR - Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad praises the smoothness of the services of the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) line from Sungai Buloh to Putrajaya.
In a tweet, the former prime minister shared his experience using the public transport service on the third day of Aidilfitri with his wife and friend.
He said an MRT staff was with them throughout the journey and this had given him the opportunity to ask questions about the MRT’s performance.
Dr Mahathir added that he felt like as if he was in a developed country after experiencing a great journey.
He said facilities were also available and the station was spacious and equipped with elevators and escalators.
He added that he believed that the people will welcome the facilities provided.
