Unity Govt's Women Convention to focus on economic agenda, nation building, women's role

The Unity Government Women's Leadership Consultative Council, in a statement today, said the content for the conference was finalised at the council's first meeting at Menara Dato' Onn here today.
"The Unity Government Women's Leadership Consultative Council hopes that through this convention, with the theme ‘Malaysia Madani: Mewajahi Masa Depan Malaysia’, it will strengthen the Unity Government’s agenda under the Makaysia MADANI concept,” it said.
Meanwhile, the meeting held today was aimed at strengthening collaboration and building a networking among women in the unity government.
It was jointly chaired by Barisan Nasional (BN) Women's chairman Datuk Seri Dr Noraini Ahmad and Pakatan Harapan (PH) Women's chairman Aiman Athirah Sabu.
The meeting was also attended by women leaders of the PH and BN component parties. - BERNAMA
