'No one is sacking or being sacked' - Yayasan Peneraju CEO

SHAH ALAM - Yayasan Peneraju Pendidikan Bumiputera (Yayasan Peneraju) chief executive officer Dr Mohd Muzzammil Ismail says no one is sacking or has been sacked from the position he is currently holding.

Muzzammil said he has discussed with the board of trustees and saw a career progression in the matter.

"In regards to the news of the CEO's dismissal, being “tight-lipped” and so on, there is actually no one sacking or being sacked.

"I already had a peaceful discussion with the members of board of trustees and saw other opportunities for career progression in this matter.

"Let’s pray that Yayasan Peneraju will continue to realise the aspirations and talents of the Bumiputeras. This is what I have to say," he said in a video uploaded on his official TikTok account yesterday.

Previously, the Kuala Kedah Umno treasurer was appointed for the position in October 2022.

However, upon checking on the official website of Yayasan Peneraju, no information on Muzzammil as the CEO of the foundation was found.

On Tuesday, Muzzammil remained tight-lipped on speculation of him being sacked from the position.

When contacted for comments over the matter, he only explained the status of his contract, which will end in October 2024.
