SHAH ALAM - Pas Secretary General Datuk Seri Takiyuddin Hassan confirmed the media statement entitled 'Support for YB Tan Sri Tuan Guru Haji Abdul Hadi Awang Member of Parliament for Marang as Prime Minister of Malaysia' is false.
Through a statement on his Facebook, he said that the viral media statement had nothing to do with any party.
Earlier, a fake media statement using the party's logo dated May 4, signed by him informed that Pas President Hadi Awang will appear before the Yang di-Pertuan Agong tomorrow to present the letter of oath of 115 Members of Parliament supporting him to become the Prime Minister of Malaysia.
Takiyuddin confirmed both statements to be fake.
