Home Ministry to formulate solutions for issues of public safety and order

SHAH ALAM - The Home Ministry (KDN) will formulate solutions to deal with the prolonged issues of public safety and order.

Its minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail said the government is paying full attention and is committed to solve the issue.

He explained that a meeting with the Ministry secretary-general Datuk Ruji Ubi and Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim was held this morning to discuss on the matter.

"Earlier this morning, Ruji and I had briefed Anwar about the issues involving congestion at the Johor embankment, immigration matters, management of foreign workers, threats to border security and several other matters related to public safety and order.

"The Unity Government pays serious attention and will give full commitment to overcome thse kind of issues," he wrote in a Facebook post today

Saifuddin also wrote that he will ensure all these problems will not persist for a long time.
