PUTRAJAYA - The Unity Government component parties' wish to use the 'dacing' logo as one of their strategies in the upcoming state election has not been finalised as of yet.

Barisan Nasional (BN) chairman Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said this was after other component parties within the Unity government expressed their wish to use the logo.

"We'd like to use the 'dacing' logo, but it hasn't been decided yet," he said in a press conference after chairing the first High Level Committee Meeting on Terrorism Control (JPTKK) here today.

He said candidates from BN will proceed using the 'dacing' logo.

"It was decided in the meeting that BN candidates will use the BN symbol, and we won't stop any other parties in the coalition who wish to use it too," he said.

He said this to comment on other component parties who want to use the 'dacing' logo in certain states.

It was reported previously that all six states have agreed to dissolve their state assemblies by the end of June to make way for the state election.

The six states were Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, Penang, Kelantan, Kedah, and Terengganu.
