MCA is for all Malaysians, not just Chinese, says Wee

Wee further said the party would continue to embody the principles and values of the late Tun Tan Cheng Lock, who stated, "MCA must work for all and have an open-minded approach. Its motto is not for Chinese community only but for all Malayan."
"The most important thing is that we bring together all the races in Malaysia and most importantly, we clear the cloudy water, not muddy the clear water," Wee said during his speech at the Unity Government National Convention at the World Trade Centre (WTC) Kuala Lumpur today.
The Ayer Hitam MP further added that political stability was crucial with a strong focus on prioritising the welfare of the people.
"Diversity is a national treasure that needs to be defended and strengthened.
"The 15th general election (GE15) is over. The political battle is over. Move on. Reach out and close the gap between people," he said, adding that taking steps towards good governance was crucial in winning the hearts of the people.
